With the help of the Jan Kassies Fund I felt I was supported as an artist coming from abroad. In these times it is extra difficult being far from places that are home. The financial support of the Jan Kassies Fund is a helping hand in overcoming the adaptations to a new context and allowed me to calm a worry and stay sensitive as an artist in turbulent times. It is also a welcome and confirmation for one to grow as an artist here, build connections, dive in artistic practices and make a home. I could focus with fuller passion on my studies and explorations in the Mime School with this support. "
